Short version: to let your group score games together, the web app keeps your email address, your name and your group’s games on our servers (run by Cloudflare). Only the people in your group can see your group’s games. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data.
This policy covers the DrunkenScorekeeper web app at
scorekeeper.elevenseventeen.cloud.
The DrunkenScorekeeper iPhone app from the App Store is a separate app that collects no data;
see its privacy policy.
Overview
ElevenSeventeen Systems, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) runs the
DrunkenScorekeeper web app as a free service. Unlike the iPhone app, the web app is shared:
everyone in a group sees the same games, live, from their own devices. That only works if the
games are kept on a server, so this page explains what we keep, why, and who can see it.
Information We Collect
Your account
- Email address — to send you sign-in codes and to recognise you when you sign in.
- Your name — the name you choose, shown on games you score.
- Passkeys — if you set up Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or Windows Hello, we keep the passkey’s public key so we can check it’s you. Your face, fingerprint and the private key never leave your device; we never see them.
- Signed-in devices — a random sign-in token (we store only a scrambled form of it), when it was created and last used, and the browser’s description of the device (for example “iPhone, Safari”).
Your groups and games
- The groups you belong to and your role in each.
- Everything your group enters: games, scores, player names, profiles, events, notes and game history — including the names of people who play without an account.
- Who entered each score change and when (shown in a game’s Score History).
- Which profile you have linked to your account (“This Is Me”).
- Invite links and guest links (we store only a scrambled form of each link).
Guests who score from a guest link don’t have an account. We keep the name they type, on the scores they enter.
How We Use It
Only to run the app: signing you in, showing your group’s games to the people in it,
keeping everyone’s phones in step, and working out stats. We don’t use your
information for advertising, we don’t build profiles about you, and we don’t sell
or rent it to anyone.
Who Can See It
- The people in your group see that group’s games, profiles, events and stats, and the names of the other members. Owners and admins also see members’ email addresses, so they know who they’ve invited.
- Guests see only the one live game their link is for.
- Your Stats (your results across all your groups) is visible only to you.
- We can access the data to run, fix and support the service. We don’t look at your games otherwise.
Third-Party Services
- Cloudflare hosts the app and stores the data (Cloudflare Workers, D1 and Durable Objects). Cloudflare also keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which we use only to find and fix problems.
- Resend delivers sign-in code emails. It receives your email address and the code.
Both act on our behalf and only for these purposes. The app has no advertising, analytics or tracking services.
Cookies and Storage on Your Device
The app sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. It also keeps a copy of your group’s games
and any not-yet-sent scores in your browser’s storage, so it opens quickly and works
offline. Signing out clears it.
Keeping and Deleting Your Data
- Your group’s games are kept until the group deletes them (admins can delete games, profiles and events, or wipe the group).
- Anyone in a group can download a full backup of it at any time.
- Sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes; invite links after 14 days; guest links after 24 hours or when the game ends.
- To delete your account, email privacy-policy@elevenseventeen.cloud from the address you sign in with. We’ll remove your email, name, passkeys and sign-ins. Scores you entered stay in your groups’ history (shown with your name), because they belong to the group’s games; ask us if you’d like your name replaced there too.
Security
The app is only available over encrypted connections (HTTPS). There are no passwords to
steal: you sign in with a passkey or a one-time code. Sign-in tokens, invite links and guest
links are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, and every change is checked against your
role in the group.
Children’s Privacy
The web app isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect
information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and
we’ll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be shown on this page with a new
effective date. Continued use of the web app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
